Personal Chef Amy Egan



I am a native Washingtonian, married and have a passion for cooking.

Sharing great meals with good friends and family was always one of my pleasures. I first learned to cook as a little girl from my mother who had learned from her mother. I love to try new recipes and am always adding to my collection. I spent several years working for a local restaurant helping train the kitchen staff and management to be rated one of Washingtonian Magazines best restaurants.

I am a graduate of the United States Personal Chef Institute and have taken several continued educational classes at L’Academie De Cuisine in Bethesda, Maryland. I am a Certified Instructor and member of the ServSafe National Program .

My theory is that people really do want to eat healthier; but they just don't have the time. I believe that food is fun , because it allows me to be creative and enjoy what I do. I enjoy cooking food from all around the world, because there are so many wonderful and distinct flavors from which to choose.

I would like to give you the opportunity to enjoy culinary pleasures in the comfort of your home with the ones you care about.
